2.00 units Jimmie Johnson (-125) over Greg Biffle (@thegreek)
Biffle is bad fast and is most definitely Top 5 potential but JJ has owned this place in the past. 2008 has not been his best year so far, but if a turn around is going to take place this is where it begins. BTW, Biffle has never beaten Johnson in 10 tries at Lowes.
2.00 units Jeff Burton (-120) over Kevin Harvick (@thegreek)
This is a play on Burton's consistency in 2008( in 11 races his worst finish is 13th) and pretty good history at Charlotte(3 Top 6 finishes the last 4 starts). Harvick has not placed in the Top 13 at Lowes since 2003, finishing 21st or worse in 6 of those 8 races.
2.00 units David Ragan (-115) over Kurt Busch (@bodog)
This seems to be two drivers/teams going in opposite directions. Ragan's Roush-Fenway team is on the rise(2 Top 5's last 3 starts, and up to the all important 12th position in points) while Busch's Penske South team is going south(only 1 Top 10 all year and 6 finishes of 23rd or worse). Ragan has placed ahead of Busch in 8 of 11 races this year.
2.00 units Juan Montoya (-110) over Sam Hornish Jr. (@bodog)
This play would be a lot bigger if Montoya would not have switched Crew chiefs earlier this week. Still will play it because I really don't like Hornish chances of finishing this race. Montoya has beaten Hornish head-to-head in 9 of the last 10 races.
1.00 unit Bobby Labonte (-135) over Elliott Sadler (@bodog)
This maybe Labonte's best track of late, since 2005 his worst finish is 18th and his average finish in those six races is 11.2. Sadler has no luck at all.
1.00 unit Clint Bowyer (+176) over Kasey Kahne (@5dimes)
Value play. Once again Bowyer is at the bottom of the speed charts but he somehow keeps coming through with good finishes, 7 of 8 Top 10's with the other finish 15th at Darlington.
Props
1.00 unit Bobby Labonte (2 to 1) to win group (@sportsbook)
over McMurray/Waltrip/Hornish/Riggs
Really think McMurray is the only one to worry about here
1.00 unit Jimmie Johnson (+345) to win group (@thegreek)
over Ky.Busch/Edwards/Biffle/Earnhardt
Johnson's past history at Lowe's alone makes this a play
1.00 unit Jeff Burton (-115) to finish better than 13.5 (@sportsbook)
Burton hasn't finished worst than 13th all year
Good luck to everyone.
